I used this plugin to design a website for a customer of mine back in 2019. The support staff at Obituary Assistant was nothing but HELPFUL! Obituary Assistant has met my client’s needs for their obituary posting. In particular the map, links for directions, email and text are very helpful. The ability to add separate events for each funeral and have a map for each was key for my client. Obituary Assistant will also save the staff time from entering in location information each time they are adding an obituary because the systems retains addresses and maps for all locations. Obituary Assistant was extremely helpful in helping me get the obituaries to display properly on the website. I recently added the Obituary Assistant obituary module to our existing funeral home website, and the first thing I noticed was an increase in flower sales. The obituaries are integrated with simple ordering right from each obituary with prefilled information for ease of use for the visitors. I now also have many new social sharing tools built into the obituaries, such as text message, email, Facebook, and many other features that help get the deceased information out to the public. In addition to that each obituary has its own unique QR code, which is another great way for a family to save as a memorial that can be filled with photo’s, condolences and videos. Our funeral home creates high quality hard copy funeral programs, that can now be added to each memorial in a pdf file attachment, which greatly enhances and personalizes each one. O, I almost forgot to mention that the obituary module is Free?
