Christopher Chandler, 65, of Stokesdale, NC passed April 14, 2022. The family will have a public viewing and receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Stokesdale, NC. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. with burial following at Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Stokesdale, NC.

Mr. Christopher Lee Chandler, born November 13, 1956, in Guilford County to the late Floyd Chandler and Elizabeth C. Welch. He departed this life on Thursday evening, April 14, 2022, at his home.

He graduated from Northwest Guilford High School, Greensboro, NC and Forsyth Technical College as a Machinist in Winston Salem, NC. He retired from Qorovo, Inc. of Greensboro, NC after 18 years of service.

He was united in marriage to Terri Searcy Chandler of Stokesdale, NC on June 28, 1986, Chris was a man of few words; but he enjoyed the simpler things in life. He enjoyed fishing with family, spending time with nieces and nephews and was a true Duke and Steeler fan. He joined Oak Springs Baptist Church and later became a member of Love and Faith Christian Fellowship.

He was also preceded in death by his stillborn son, William Lee Chandler on May 20, 1991, brother, Harold Chandler and nephew, Mark Chandler, niece, Jayla Adiches, great great niece, Nataliya Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years; Terri Chandler, two brothers; Larry Chandler (Leatha), Terry Chandler both of Greensboro, NC, four sisters; Gail Price (Dalton) of Belews Creek, NC, Danita Vargas (Chris) of Winston Salem, NC, Debra Hairston (Anthony) andTiffany Welch both of Walnut Cove, NC, Also left to cherish his memory; brothers-in-law; Tony Searcy (Paige) of Pilot Mountain, NC, Gus Searcy (Angela) of Stokesdale, NC, special nephew; Ryan Chandler (Nicole) of Belews Creek, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
