Darrell S. White was born on October 31, 1973, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Delores Drane and James "Jimbo" Johnson. Darrell gained his education through the Indianapolis School Systems and graduated from Howe High School.

Darrell was a man of many talents but had a profound love for music and became well-known for his expertise as a DJ. Not only could he steal your heart through his music, but even more so with his infectious smile "hence smiley" and his unmatched love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Darrell had a special bond with his mother, whom he called "Mama." He didn't let a day go by without checking on her.

Darrell ended his journey here on earth April 6, 2020. He was 46 years old.

Darrell preceded in death by his sister, Stacy Kennedy Barnes; his stepfather, Michael Drane, Sr.; and his father, James Johnson.

Darrell leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Olajumoke Agboluje Bolluaje White; his mother, Delores Drane; his children, Tiara White-Chisholm (James Chisholm), Jasmine Merriweather, Jamar Merriweather, Mariah White, Darryl Merriweather, Quintel White, and Davion White; brothers, Jamal Johnson, Teny Kennedy, Zachary Drane, Duane Drane, Darrell Drane, and Michael Drane, Jr.; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
